The Embodied Presence Training

David has created this training based on 20 years of teaching experience. The practices—breathwork, breath meditation, and embodied movement—are designed to transform the breath, mind, and body, restoring function and well-being. In the training, you will understand these practices through cognitive science, Buddhist psychology, and neuroscience research on mindfulness.

This training will both develop new teachers and bring new meaning and clarity to the work of existing teachers.

Each practice in the training is backed by research presented in the student workbook and explored in-depth in the online teacher training. The workbook is designed for students to learn and deepen their understanding of why they are doing the practices, as well as to track their progress and process.

When you complete the online training and the 6-week program, you will receive a certificate of completion. This allows you to teach the program to your students and share the workbook. The workbook is a valuable resource for your students to understand why they are doing the practices and track their progress.

The online course for EP teachers explores breathwork, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and embodied movement in depth.

Trainees can join the monthly supervision class to explore subjects in greater depth. The supervisions are recorded for later viewing. Trainees can also join the Zoom meditations, where they can ask questions afterward about their practice and teaching.

The intention is to create an Embodied Presence Community of dedicated practitioners based on simple breathwork, mindfulness of breathing, and simple movement practices.

Weekly Meditation Classes.

There are two live drop-in meditation classes per week, accessible to members via Zoom. After each class, there will be time for sharing and discussion. The main practice is mindfulness of breathing meditation.

These classes are also broadcast live on YouTube for free. Participants who join via Zoom will not be visible on YouTube.

Class times will vary by season to accommodate different time zones as best as possible.
